5 years being married to you. I’m so thankful for you @bennettshake. I’m thankful that the Lord saw fit to bring us together then and you truly have been His good and perfect gift to me. We’ve gone through so much these past 5 years and we are not the same people we were when we got married. Marriage is so much richer, harder, easier, fuller than I expected. Love you so much and looking forward to add to our family soon. 😌

I found my favorite Indian restaurant in Colorado! Was specifically looking for a Southern Indian place and this is it!! They also have dosas and vadas which remind me of home. Food is actually spicy, not watered down. So, so good! If it wasn’t an hour away I would be there every week 😂. One of my favorite things from Stephen and John’

One of my favorite things from Stephen and John’s visit was cooking together. We recreated a meal from one of our favorite restaurants growing up in Ipoh @sinhupkee. Every time my late grandparents visited we would always go there. So this was certainly very nostalgic, meaningful, and we had one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. And reminds me of where I come from.

Sometimes there are albums that you just listen to over and over again. pure by Abbie Gamboa has been one of those for me. It touches my soul and is what I’ve been feeling.

So this is the title track. I didn’t listen to it before posting because it defeats to the purpose of what it’s about.

A few months ago I was on a retreat and the moment this song played, I wept uncontrollably. Thank you @songbirdabbie for these songs.

We went back to @dishoom for breakfast. Their masala chai is amazing!!!! It’s been awhile since I’ve had authentic chai. We tried their bacon naan roll and kejriwal (chili cheese toast). 👌🏼👍🏼😋

As foodies, we’re always looking for good food. The best meal we had in the UK was at @dishoom

We had a long day and though we had to wait a bit to get a table, we were seated at the bar area and got some drinks. I had the best colada I’ve ever consumed in my life!!

Moving on to the food we ordered keema pau (minced lamb on homemade buns) bowl of greens, salli boti (Parsi braised lamb) and chicken ruby. Every dish packed so much flavor and we were very impressed. So much so that we went back for breakfast the next day… alright I’ll stop now as this is turning into a food review 😅.
